Loving Chicago February Events
The Humans January 30-February 11
A Tony Award-winning play goes on national tour after playing on Broadway. The Humans is a 95-minute warm, witty, and funny play about the Blake family. They are a family in conflict who learn more about each over Thanksgiving dinner.
The story of a family from Pennsylvania uprooted to Manhattan for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The LOVE You Want Tour February 14th
A singles mixer on the far south side of the city by the LoveliestWoman Coaching. The mixer is for professionals who want to find that special someone in a fun, flirty, and intimate environment.

Chinese New Year February 16th
The year of the Dog starts on February 16th. Go to Chinatown to celebrate the New Year with dragon dances, red paper lanterns, and fantastic food. On February 24th and 25th they will even have parades on Argyle Street.
The Chinese New Year is the most important festival of the year, as China looks to honor deities and ancestors through the start of monthlong festivities.

Chicago Volunteer Expo February 18th
Are you interested in giving back in 2018? Then connect with over 85 nonprofit organizations from all over the city to see how you can volunteer.
Start with a free speed volunteering session, and then explore different nonprofits in a wide array of interests.

Live for Yourself: Facing your fears February 19th

The quarterly event has three speakers who discuss a centralized theme. The ideas and networking activities help to inspire you.

Score Business Forum February 20th
400 small business owners get together for a 6-hour forum to learn, network, and grow together. The topic centers around digital marketing, social media, and digital data.

Frost Fest February 24th and 25th
The 4th annual Frost fest in Boystown is an outdoor party where attendees can sample more than 50 craft beers from an array of local breweries. Fortunately, you can do this all in a huge heated tent.

Potted Potter Runs until February 25th

Blind Date Runs until February 25th
For those looking to pine over the 1980’s foreign relations between the US and USSR, you want to see this comedy. Blind Date is based on the first meeting between US President Ronald Reagan and USSR leader Mikhail Gorbachev.
The two leaders broke through their differences to forge a relationship that would change the course of history. A little humor explores the first meeting between two world leaders with immense nuclear power as they discuss classic Hollywood movies and pop culture.

Love Never Dies February 14th– March 4th
The long-awaited sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic The Phantom of the Opera. The riveting play took Andrew Lloyd Weber over 20 years to complete. The sequel reunites the masked ghoul Mr. Y with his true love Christine.
Mr. Y moved to New York from Paris to start the freakshow Phantasma on Coney Island. He reveals himself to Christine and makes her choose between her alcoholic husband Raoul or him.

Cosi Fan Tutte February 17th – March 16th
Mozart’s satirical opera takes a risqué look at relationships. Two sisters meet two foreigners while their fiancés are at war. It is all a test to see if they will remain faithful.
The truth is the foreigners are their betrothed. They switched to see if they could woo the other’s partner. Confusion and mayhem reign as the plot unfolds.
